HAPPY BIRTHDAY to ME!!

Heartfelt thanks to one n all for the well wishes!

Pandans got the ball rolling by surprising me wif a Rum n Cherry cake from Awfully Chocolate. Hee. I was touched. The words on the cake were really sweet.

Pandans, thanks for the cake n ur love!! I love u gals too!

N for the actual day, my colleagues, Shin n Regina, treated me to lunch at TCC. I always enjoy their company becoz they r funny n we can gossip tgt! Haha.

I received two cakes in the office - one by the seniors, and one by my fellow associates. They caught me by surprise for the first round I forgot to take pictures! Wat a waste. The lovely seniors bought me a mango cake from Royals, one of my fave cake shops! Hees. Some managers were there as well, n everyone was like saying, "She's only 23. So young!!" They were all very envious of the number of candles on my cake. Keke. Thanks seniors.

Next round was a chocolate cake from Prima Deli. It was huge! My fren cut me bout an eighth of the entire cake I think. After finishing the cakes from both rounds, I had no space left for dinner. Haha.

My dear fellow associates, in stark contrast to the seniors, not only did not envy how few candles I had on my cake, but instead kept thinking dat there shd be 24 candles instead of 23. Even Angela tot the same, n she is the same age as I am! Infuriating. Haha.

Though my colleagues may never see this post, I wanna say I really appreciate all dat they haf done for me today. I was really touched.

After the two rounds of celebration, I dashed off to meet my family for dinner. It was simple fare at the zi char stall 新海山 at Tiong Bahru. Wanted to treat my family to sth more expensive but my parents dint wan me to spend too much. =) Packed a crab home. It was huge n spicy. I only tasted the gravy becoz I was sooooo full. Still am now.

Of coz, though Baobao is half the world away from me, he dint forget my bdae the least bit! He sent me flowers! Baobao got his brother to order the flowers n had them sent to my office.

See the other bouquet in the background? Dats the one Baobao sent me during Valentine's Day this year. I haf 6 sunflowers altogether!

The flowers are lovely. Thank you Baobao.

My colleagues asked why Baobao kept sending me sunflowers. Baobao's answer to dat: "Becoz you are like sunflowers - bright and cheery. N u brighten up my life."
