Bad day.

Glad its coming to an end. Guess it happens sometimes. Every once in a blue moon.

Glad to meet Jun for lunch todae. Complained bout the unfortunate events to someone who understands. Certainly turned my day ard. Aniwae gal, the hot chocolate from Mr Tea is not bad; lets go back again.

Felt like puking the whole day. Havnt been well the past few days.

I need to release.

Great Savings/Spending

Today I went to get the Coach wristlet Baobao bought for me from our hall fren! Hees. According to Bao, this is jus one part of my bday present n when I am over in the States he wld buy me sth huge, for e.g. a Kate Spade!!

The wristlet is black n Bao meant it to replace the pouch I have been using. He had secretly been of YQ cos I have been using the pouch YQ gave me for the longest time. Therefore, he is retaliating now! Haha. Nah, kidding. I made that up. Keke.

So I was out today. While waiting for our fren to appear with the wristlet, I went shopping. Bought a top from Zara. After getting the wristlet I headed over to Raffles City to get some Biotherm stuff; me moisturiser had run out a wk ago. I bought two bottles of the moisturiser n I was told by the salesperson that if I spent $180, I wld get $20 off the purchase. Cheapo me grabbed the offer of cos. Ended up buying another mask. Haha. The tab went like this. Total was $196, less $20 as promised, n less $30 thanks to the Robinsons voucher Baobao gave me. N there u go, a bill of $196 became $146! N there were freebies too! One pouch, one zip lock bag n range of trials. Hurray!!

Haha. So the trip out cost me $200. I shd stay at home more often. Haha.

Went for my company's Sports Day yesterday, though I had tried to avoid it as much as I cld. My mgr convinced me it wld be awesome but nah, it was not near to being fun. Aniwae, I received my silver medal for carrom, n becos some of my colleagues left early, I had to go get the medals for two other colleagues too.

So the mgr who promised the fun treated me to pizza at a place at Bukit Timah. It was good. I cant rem the name but I do rem the way to get there. Its right beside RGPS. Throughout the meal we were arguing about lots of intellectual stuff. Its funny. I won in all topics. Cheers to me. Haha.

Came home, took a good bath, n headed down to the pasar malam with Sis to grab food. We are both really greedy I feel. Haha. Aniwae, I finally got to eat sotong ball.

So now I m waiting for Bao to wakie n come online. Hees. Stoopid Bao called me Xiaoroubao. He is DA LONG BAO.

Baoz, I finally got the wristlet. I have transferred all my stuff in there. Hees. I will be bringing it to lunch everyday. Tmr's Monday again. Soooo sian. I have alot waiting for me this week. In fact every week. I wan December to come. It will be an awesome month wun it? I cant help but smile when I think bout it. =)

Wat do I do in office everyday?

Having endured the torture of waking up every morning, withstood the test of my patience in the morning trains I struggle getting into, I reach the office at about 0855 hrs every morning. With some hiccups, I reach at 9 or slightly after.

In the beginning few weeks, the first thing I wld do when I reached the office, other than switching on my pc, I wld mark a cross on my calendar. Of late, I haf made myself accumulate 3 or 4 days before I mark the crosses, in an attempt to make myself feel that time is passing more quickly.

Jus as I begin to feel many days have passed, I do a count, only to realise that there are more ahead. Still, I did not let that bring me down. I soldier on; but no matter how strong I am I have my weak moments. Moments which I cant really afford to have.

N so the day wld end probably at 9 plus at nite, if I do not have any appointment that day. By then, I m burnt out.

Why do I work hard?

Becos I have a portfolio. One which I aim to complete. One which I have to complete.

Becos I want to make the holiday in December happen.

Why do I not blog?

No energy to? No mood to? Or maybe becos I have lost interest in blogging cos I subconsciously feel that I have found ppl to listen to me in person. N I do not wan to rely on virtual space to vent my feelings.

Notwithstanding the above, here I am, doing jus what I do not want to do.

Daily routine includes: Checking the SIA website, checking the US currency rates, checking ur blog.

These past few days many things happened. I m scared. I m frustrated. I m tired.

I need sleep. Plenty of it. The sad thing is, I havnt been sleeping well n I cant sleep much.

I have a big bruise on each of my legs; I have no idea how I got them. I only rem bumping into my desk at work the other day.

I wasnt trying to be difficult. I really wasnt.

Alrite, enuf of the nonsense. Looking back, I mus say I have done well. The past 2 mths havnt been easy, but I have been able to get through it. No crying alone, no threatening Bao to make him come back at once, no nothing. Occasional hiccups here n there, but we have done well Baobao.

Bao, I noe u miss me. I miss u too. I have been taking good care of myself. Promise u will too?

I m gg to bed. Headache's giving me a hard time. Nite nite to me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to ME!!

Heartfelt thanks to one n all for the well wishes!

Pandans got the ball rolling by surprising me wif a Rum n Cherry cake from Awfully Chocolate. Hee. I was touched. The words on the cake were really sweet.

Pandans, thanks for the cake n ur love!! I love u gals too!

N for the actual day, my colleagues, Shin n Regina, treated me to lunch at TCC. I always enjoy their company becoz they r funny n we can gossip tgt! Haha.

I received two cakes in the office - one by the seniors, and one by my fellow associates. They caught me by surprise for the first round I forgot to take pictures! Wat a waste. The lovely seniors bought me a mango cake from Royals, one of my fave cake shops! Hees. Some managers were there as well, n everyone was like saying, "She's only 23. So young!!" They were all very envious of the number of candles on my cake. Keke. Thanks seniors.

Next round was a chocolate cake from Prima Deli. It was huge! My fren cut me bout an eighth of the entire cake I think. After finishing the cakes from both rounds, I had no space left for dinner. Haha.

My dear fellow associates, in stark contrast to the seniors, not only did not envy how few candles I had on my cake, but instead kept thinking dat there shd be 24 candles instead of 23. Even Angela tot the same, n she is the same age as I am! Infuriating. Haha.

Though my colleagues may never see this post, I wanna say I really appreciate all dat they haf done for me today. I was really touched.

After the two rounds of celebration, I dashed off to meet my family for dinner. It was simple fare at the zi char stall 新海山 at Tiong Bahru. Wanted to treat my family to sth more expensive but my parents dint wan me to spend too much. =) Packed a crab home. It was huge n spicy. I only tasted the gravy becoz I was sooooo full. Still am now.

Of coz, though Baobao is half the world away from me, he dint forget my bdae the least bit! He sent me flowers! Baobao got his brother to order the flowers n had them sent to my office.

See the other bouquet in the background? Dats the one Baobao sent me during Valentine's Day this year. I haf 6 sunflowers altogether!

My colleagues asked why Baobao kept sending me sunflowers. Baobao's answer to dat: "Becoz you are like sunflowers - bright and cheery. N u brighten up my life."
