I m having gastric flu. Its the worst one ever. Ohh, I never want to haf it again. Getting on in age; cant take such pain animore.

Baobao went to the US embassy todae. Guess his visa wld be ready next wk, after which he wld be flying off anitime from den. Hmmm. I told Baobao not to miss me in the States becoz dat wld make his life better. Heez. Well well.

Went shopping for a luggage n I warned Baobao sternly not to complain about having to buy a luggage. Keke. Its so funny dat he called me at the office the other day n talked about having to go get a luggage n started complaining bout having to get one. It was a funny conversation. Baobao laughed too.

Baobao came by my place n we watched the first disc of Alvin and the Chipmunks. Took some pics while Baobao was trying to keep himself awake.

Baobao was lying flat. I was sitting beside him. Its hard to take pics lidat. N there were a few other pics which Baobao dint bother to look into the camera. *Pinch*

I entertained myself while Baobao was trying not to doze off.

There's a jigsaw puzzle hanging on the wall behind my head. N I covered it totally. Does it imply anithing? Booooo.

Okie HK is slightly more than a week away. Packing and unpacking. Shopping n eating. Cheers.

The other day I was reading through Baobao's blog. He started it when I was in the States last year. I am realli touched dat he started a blog for me - to keep me updated n stuff. Tears welled up in my eyes when I was reading it. I felt how he felt when I was in the States. He's so gonna pay me double now. Hee. Okie you win Baobao. I gave you 3 mths n you are giving me 6. Keke. Dun miss me while you are there. Just remember dat I m supporting you in SG, working hard and waiting patiently for you to come back. =)

This is crappy. Six mths suddenly feel like an awfully long time.

It is. It is not.

Monday Blues

Dint manage to touch a single bit of what I had planned to at work. Too many impromptu urgencies. Too many eeeky tasks.

Realli glad to haf a chance to help out n be part of a project - I am totally making the most out of this opportunity given to me. A major plus point is that I am doing this wif an assistant manager who is patient n willing to teach (that's very impt). We are in the team for another horrible case. Both of our faces turn sour at the mention of the name. True enuf, its been giving us headaches, though I always manage to shake dat headache off rather quickly since I am like the mini fly on the job. The AM is the one wif the biggest headache I feel.

But oh well, this project is sth I haf nv done before. Not even in NTU. This is interesting cuz of the many many projects done during university days, none was of this topic. Though its a well-known fact that tax is a very specialised field, I do feel myself learning more n more each day. =)

It is scary, however, to see one of your peers already leaving tax n pursuing her interests in another field. I doubt I will ever be like that, since I haf no interests whatsoever. Pathetic haha. But I guess its precisely this characteristic of mine which will enable me to last in this line, n I hope I do.

In three months' time it would be a year anniversary of work for me. It sounds awfully short given that I feel like I haf been working since forever. N I totally feel like an old bird (not in the technical expertise, but the administrative aspects etc) in the office. Heard the rumour that the fresh grads would be starting work in June n I am really hoping that their starting pay would be $2.6 grand, becoz that goes to say that everyone else would haf a $200 adjustment in their salaries. *Fingers crossed*

I m still feeling the after-effect of what I had been trying to do on the bus home juz now. Giddy n all. No I did not do anything bad or stupid on the bus. But maybe I should not do it again.

Monday is over. Here comes Tuesday. Harloe Tuesday.

Yeah, bring it on. Lets see how I m gg to tide through these two weeks before I go on leave. Maybe I shd camp in the office. Maybe I shd bring work home. Maybe I shd jus heck care. Maybe my work will work themselves. Maybe I will be very slim tmr. Maybe I will reach office on time tmr. Maybe it will rain tmr. Maybe I will be wearing a skirt tmr. Ok I am crazy I know.

Of coz, not forgetting...

Sleepless nights. Though I wait till I m totally wiped out before I get to bed, I still cant fall asleep. Sigh.

Took a half day today. Hectic AM at work. More to come in the next two weeks. I hate to think bout it. Anihow, I had an enjoyable day. Met Bui for lunch n den went wif him to collect his cashier order. I kept disturbing him todae haha. ^_^

Met Jun thereafter n went for a foot, hand n shoulder massage. It got realli painful on my neck, n I had realli wanted to ask the auntie whether she disliked me n hence the mighty strength on my toes, back n neck.

Dinner was Korean steamboat wif Team PooH. The food was realli good and the price reasonable. Shall go back again soon. Forgot to take pics wif Team PooH though. Booo. Nonetheless, it was a fun gathering.
