Today's a good day Obvious from the heading, I had a pretty good day despite bringing a swollen right eye to work. Sobz.
For those of u hu noe, my right eye is pretty much out of shape now. Hafta stay out of contact lenses for a while, n so I went to work wif my specs todae. Do I look veri different? Maybe. Becoz some of my colleagues cldnt recognise mi. =X
The reason which made mi happi todae though was not becoz I enjoyed being the centre of attraction wif everione asking mi y I wore specs todae but becoz I met a client for the first time! It was so impromptu. The client was here for the auditors n so he brought along the document I had sent to him as well. Kinda got a shock when the reception said a gentleman was here to see mi. For a moment, I tot Bui had come wif a bouquet of flowers. Muahaha. Aniwaes, so the client was realli nice n he gave mi his name card but being my first time mtg a client, I went without bringing my name card. So embarrassing. Had a brief chat wif him b4 I headed bac to office n decided dat I shd bring him one of my name card. So dat marks my first encounter wif a client. First 'breakthrough' in my job. =)
Eye was painful so came bac earli. Reached home at 7 n took a nap immediately cuz I was wiped out. Woke up at 8, took a bath n had dinner. Good soup n dishes plus fave TV programme at the stipulated 9 pm iz always enjoyable. Datz y I like coming home earli. Juz too bad I dun get alot of such chances.
