The collage I did for Bui on his bdae last year. Right in the middle iz the first picture we ever had tgt. We both had cheekbones den.

Had a well-rested weekend. I nua-ed the whole day at home todae. Glad to do dat.

Sigh itz Monday again tmr. Life's such a routine. I foresee OT tmr as I was too sian n lazy to go bac to office on Sat. Been too sian to share wif anione I still had work to do bac in office, n tried veri hard to convince myself work iz never ending. The fact dat there iz gg to be another full-day training on Wed doesnt help. Trainings juz disrupt the momentum of getting work out. The worst part iz trainings r boring.

Maybe I shd take a day off during the wk. A random day off. Or maybe a half day. Scurry off to fetch Bui from work, or to find the Pandans, or laze ard at home.

The ulcer I m having now iz realli huge. Itz so near to my lips. My lips r so dry they look chao4 ta1.

Juz learnt bout sth saddening. N scary. Life iz so unpredictable. There r so mani ppl I wun bear to leave behind.

Went to Great World City to find my sis for dinner juz now. Bui treated us to Ichiban Boshi since he made mi angry in the day. Haha. Good dinner it was. Thinking of more in future.

Bui angered mi yet again at nite. I knew he dint mean it, but I cldnt help but feel hurt. It was a harmless joke I noe. Thanx Bui for toking to mi in dat tone juz now. I noe those words came from the bottom of ur heart. N I m glad dat u noe I think the same way too. =)

Life's becoming monotonous lately. I need more thrill.

A brief recap of last wk:

Monday - Went home for dinner. Dint knock off too late fortunately.

Tuesday - Failed to get my new hp cuz apparently itz out of stock island-wide. Was utterly angry at myself becoz I had been waiting for a long time n I ignored Bui's advice to juz make a quickie enquiry bout whether the phone was even available. However, sweetie Bui brightened my day by showing up wif two boxes of Royce chocolates!! I realli dint expect it at all. He had purposeli made a trip to Wisma Atria b4 coming to meet mi at Raffles Place. Muackssss Bui. We went for Sakae sushi thereafter. It was a great dinner!

Wednesday - Met up wif the Archery guys n had the most expensive Korean meal ever. Each person had to pay $42! There were 9 of us! Went to chill at Menotti's after dinner n got a lift home from Derick.

Thursday - Met up wif Jing (NTU) for shopping. Dint manage to get anithing. Dint even manage to find ani decent drink n place to chill. The weather was great dat nite though.

Friday - Buidi!! Heez. He said he had been wanting to c mi since morning. Keke.

Thanx Bui for always pampering mi wif watever food I wanted. Even when I cant decide wat I wan. Heez. Thanx for being wif mi.

Itz Friday, finalli.

The week's been long; the thing I rem most clearly iz my struggling to stay awake during trainings.

Itz 0840 hrs now n as usual, my surrounding iz pretty much empty. Empty in fact. I m beginning to admire myself for the consistency. Getting to office earli gives mi a veri gd feeling. For starters, u dun get noticed for being late. Not dat anione cares in any way, but I guess I wun feel too gd bout it. Besides, if I miss the bus which I almost miss everidae, I wld haf to stand all the way on the next one, n feel angry at myself for not waking up 2 mins earlier.

Went shopping wif Huijing (NTU) yest. Went wif the aim of buying ALOT of things. We went to two mega sales n came out empty-handed. ARGH.

Haha, I haf thiz weird feeling suddenli. I miss the Pandans. Heez.

My manager came over to mi the other day n we had a realli brief conversation. It went like thiz...

Mgr: "Iris when u first came in did u put on any make-up?"
Me: "Yes I did."
Mgr: "Den now dun haf oredi ar??"
Me: "Not so much lar. Why? Do I look veri qiao2 cui4?"
Mgr: "Er, not realli lar. Abit."

Late nites gif u bad looks. I m more amazed by the fact dat my fatigue realli showed so much. Haha. But my guess iz it has got to do wif my foundation (datz all I put aniwae). I haf seen the bottom of my foundation case, but I havnt gotten round to buy a new one yet. There r no ugly gals in thiz world, onli lazy ones. Datz mi.

I realli got to do sth bout my eye bags. The eye bag vanishing serum I bought iz not working becoz I slp veri late everi nite. Wat a waste of money.

Had dinner wif Bui's family yest n the meal was great. I absolutely love the herby duck at Dian4 Xiao3 Er4. Yumzzz. The soup was perfect wif the rice. I actualli finished a bowl of rice.

Pandan was next. Simply enjoy such times sitting at a cafe, talking bout everithing. The nite sitting at One Fullerton was great. Discovered sth amazing bout Shuwen - she enjoys being molested. When Meizhi went to touch her butt yesternite, she went "Wooh" (quite loudly). Erm.

Reached home late again last nite, but I dint mind. Juz felt I had to be there. Thanx Lydia for not juz the ride yesterdae, but for all the rides u haf given mi! Muacks gal.

In life we learn. Sometimes, we make mistakes. N making mistakes often involve hurting others, n getting hurt. Dun blame him too much, or for dat matter, dun blame urself too. Things happen, they juz do. N if they shd, itz always better sooner than later. Be sad yes, but not for long. For u dunno wat other good things await in the path ahead.

Okie I havnt blogged in ages n I m gg to do a short one rite now.

M sitting at my office desk, slowly eating my bfast mouth by mouth, trying indeed veri hard to 'wake up'. The day started wif mi refusing to get out of bed, veri much tempted to get a MC or leave. My throat was burning n pimples r starting to show. Yes, I m suffering from a lack of sleep.

So now I m thinking of nothing except whether to take a half day leave to go bac home n sleep! Maybe I shd. Since I gotta clear my leave aniwae. Oh well, lets c my workload again later. If therez nothing much to do, I wld juz go home! Maybe I shd go for a pedicure since I haf been wanting to do one. But given my 'awake' status todae, I think I shd juz go home n indulge in O.C. which I haf recently started watching. The show turned out to be fab as well. N yea, I haf been watching shows till late the past few days, which explains my not being able to wake up n lack of sleep. Budden again, iz there a day which I can wake up easily in the morning?

Therez a difference though. Not wanting to wake up n not being able to wake up. For the first few weeks, it was more of not wanting to wake up, but these few days were quite scary - I cldnt bring myself to open my eyes.

As I was half-awake/asleep, I dint manage to 'pack' myself properli b4 I left home for work. I tied a pony-tail (which was messily done), forgot to wear a watch, n left home not knowing dat I had not put on ani make-up. Haha. I muz be looking quite scary now.

Met up wif Bui's frens yesterdae. I enjoyed last nite, for more reason than one. Glad dat was a good start for the guys.

So mani things seem to be awaiting mi in life.

Onboarding

Itz been two tiring days of Onboarding Programme. It feels kinda weird dat I m gg for it after I haf been working for 4 wks. Besides, I haf work sitting on my desk bac in office waiting for mi to clear. The Friday tmr iz gonna be like last wk's when I had worked like a robot. Sad. Itz feels so long since I last felt TGIF.

The two days of Onboarding were okie; KP fed us realli well. The programme was held at The Legends Fort Canning Park, n the food was realli good. All we did these two days was eat, sit n listen. Well for mi, there was falling asleep n struggling to stay awake too. Haha. My fellow colleagues sitting at my table was laughing at mi for falling aslp. Apparently everione saw mi doze off. Haha. Watz new. I did make the effort to stay awake, but I juz cldnt. Guess thiz iz one veri guy characteristic of mi. Few gals fall aslp during lectures or presentation I wld guess. It juz so happens I m one such gal.

Had dinner wif the partner todae. Haha. She's nice. She even led the way out for us to leave earli cuz she wanted to leave earli too. It was kinda embarrassing though, everione was still seated n they kept staring at us while we tried to escape! Haha.

Oh there was the dreaded team event (typical of any orientation), n my team was like, we were gg to be so dead cuz our booth was like empty! Turned out dat we got second in the end! Haha. The price was a Borders prepaid card; not sure how much value there is in there though.

Tmr's Friday n I finalli wld be meeting Bui. Havnt met him for the whole week becoz of my busy schedule.

Gosh I m soooo tired. I hardly haf any time for myself ever since I started work.

Too lazy to blog lately. Too tired to do anithing constructive after I get home everidae. Sigh, I keep looking forward to the days ahead for a break, but my neck has stretched like a giraffe's n I still dun c ani yet. =(

Celebrated Buidi's 26th bdae wif him last Thursday. Haha. We decided to haf sth different from the normal Western meal we wld haf, so we had steamboat at Suntec City. It was such a disappointment. The smell which I had been so attracted to fooled mi. Heez.

Bui n his pressie. I wrapped the Man U jersey I bought him in 4 layers! Keke.

Met up wif Huijing n Weijie for dinner at Moon River on Fri. Food was average n over-priced in our opinion. The ambience was not bad though.

Brownie n chocolate mousse. The mousse was great except dat it was too sweet.

Went over to join the Pandan gals n Yanjie n Jenn Ro at the HK cafe after dat. Nice catching up. Talked bout Yanjie's environmentally unfriendly biz etc, n I m still appalled at how we heard n smelt his car instead of seeing it come. Haha.

Woke up earli the next day to go to Bui's sis' place to make desserts. Her colleague n her taught mi to make English Trifle n Tiramisu. Heez, it was not bad, except I found it too sweet. I haf oredi thought of ways to modify it to my own liking!! Heez. Gonna try it soon. Sweetie Bui bought lunch n came over at noon. He spent the whole afternoon reading newspapers n watching National Geographic in the living room. Heez, I cld tell he was bored, but he said he dint mind cuz I was happi. Thanx Bui!

Came home to put the desserts in the fridge b4 gg out for dinner at VivoCity. Had a wonderful nite wif Bui. I realli wish there were 3 days for weekend.

Havnt been blogging. Nothing much for the past wk. Had KTV wif my dpt on Wed nite, stayed out realli late; steamboat on Thurs nite wif my peers, great nite out; partner treated us to lunch on Fri n had WAT gathering at Jun's place thereafter. Yeyan prepared ma2 la4 steamboat, itz traditional chong2 qing4 huo3 guo1 mind u. Haha. Sweetie Bui came to fetch mi home from Jun's place dat nite. Thanx Bui.

Simple day out wif Bui on Sat. We went for dim sum high tea n headed for Comex. dint get anithing except for Bui's cordless phone. I dint puke thiz time round. Haha.

Thiz started my crave for char siew pau.

My fave iz har gow.

We ordered a few too mani. Juz ticked n ticked on the menu. Haha. Thank goodness the glutinous rice I ordered nv came.

It was Pandan outing on Sun evening. Had a great time wif the gals at Vivo, though it was kind of a spoil sport when we had to leave at 10 plus while we were at Pacific Coffee. We continued hanging at the spectator stand thingy. Haha. Took some pics n talked. Managed to catch the last train home but maybe it wasnt dat gd a timing - I had BIG problem waking up thiz morning.

Us trying to be san1 ba1. Hahaha. So who's the most gossipy? Keke.

Busy day at work. Busy week ahead. Looking forward to Thurs sooooo much cuz itz Bui's bdae. Heeez. I gonna treat Bui to nicey food. Actualli itz kinda my bdae celebration too. We havnt had a meal for my bdae thiz year. Speaking of my bdae, I wanna thank Jun again. Sweetie gal bought mi the piglet crystal ball I loved so much bac in the States n organised a party for mi n another gal who's bdae was one day after mine. Thankew so much gal. I realli appreciate the gesture from the bottom of my heart.

I haf been on a char siew pau craze. 8 in 3 days. Haha. More to come I anticipate.

PMS iz realli serious thiz month. There r lots of pimples on my chin. Another two on my nose. I wanna look pretty on Bui's bdae!! The pimples aint gg to heal in time. Booooo.

Heez I love looking at pics of Bui n I. Makes mi wanna hug Buidi n squeeze his face. Though he gives mi names all the time. He has switched to giving mi nicer (note its nicer, not nice) names becoz he has realised dat I m upset dat I m fat. But still, I heart & hug my Bui! ^_^
