I worked OT todae. I worked till almost 8pm b4 I left office. Had wanted to stay longer, but was too hungry to. When I reached downstairs, I realised it was raining cats n dogs. Datz the thing bout working - u dunno wat goes on outside.
Attempted to flag a cab but to no avail. Took a bus home n was sort of drenched. Hmmm, my first taste of OT. Erm, it dint feel too good I muz say. Haha. The onli consolation was dat the partner was still ard.
I juz got a case from the other Tax department. Apparently the other dpt transferred a whole portfolio of cases over, n the allocation was out a few days bac. I got one case. The senior sitting behind mi said congratulations to me n i said, "I got one onli wad." Den he replied, "Dun u wonder y ur case needs two preparers??" I was like, okie.
So todae we went to tok to the person hu was previousli in charge of the case, n erm, juz the query files, there were 5 files. The computation itself was half a centimetre thick, if not thicker. I cld onli imagine the number of schedules I haf to come up wif, n the amount of OT I haf to do. My assistant manager tol us to be prepared to camp in office. Datz great. *Sweat*
Tmr's FRIDAY. Time flies. It felt like juz yesterdae when I was shaking my leg watching TV after I got bac from work. Dat was last Thurs. Hmmmm.
Resolution for tmr morn: Not dread waking up, cuz its FRIDAY. =)
I dun like looking into the mirror now becoz my face iz super roundie round. Sobz.
