I m feeling rather confused now becoz it doesnt feel veri real to be at home, to be in Singapore as a whole. I spent the whole of yesterdae rotting at home, not having done a single proper thing at all. I was supposed to clear my wardrobe to make space for current n new clothes, but I dint get down to doing it yest becoz when I opened my wardrobe, I realised I dint noe how to start. Before I set off for US, I had oredi done one round of elimination, having thrown away realli old clothes which I dint wan animore. However, the three sacks of clothes which I moved bac from hall added nothing but woes to my wardrobe. For the past two days, Mummy stored my clothes in her wardrobe.

To be frank, I haf been feeling realli guilty in the States becoz Mummy has wanted mi to clear my wardrobe since like 2 years ago. Of coz, I made up some excuse each time she nagged n managed to get away wif it. When I was in the States I felt realli bad bout having done dat becoz it was a simple request n yet I failed to fulfill it. I finalli got round to doing it todae, but the end results was way from satisfactory. I onli managed to make space for the clothes which were stored in Mummy's wardrobe, but none for new working clothes, which obviousli was more impt.

Been feeling realli lethargic, n in fact I feel disgusted by how I haf spent my past two days. Maybe it was jet lag, I went to sleep at 7-ish yest evening, shortly after dinner, n woke up onli becoz Mummy woke mi up to go take a bath b4 I slept again. I ended up watching shows from Crunchyroll all the way to 5am. Urgh. Such a lack of discipline iz realli undesirable.

There r so mani things on my to-do list, but I havnt done ani of it. Sigh. Been doing sth excessively though - EATING. I m a lazy pig ard the house. The onli chores I did were shredding the meat Mummy used to cook mee hoon todae, frying the luncheon meat n stir-frying the ginger for the sesame oil chicken.

Confirmed the date of my first day of work todae. Itz gonna be 13 August 2007. Hmmmm, I hope for the best at work. =)

I m looking forward to thiz Sat becoz itz the first Sat I m bac in Singapore, n so I m looking forward to pator-ing wif Bui thiz Sat! Keke. Hmmm, I guess we wld see less of each other when I start work since his working hours differ so much from mine. He ends work earli while I dunno wat time I can knock off. Uncertainty lies ahead.

Itz time to get my life bac on track.

Itz my big day!

Convocation. The reason I rushed bac from the States. On 24 July 2007, I attended my convocation ceremony, sth which I did not realli look forward to becoz I dint do well in the exams at all. Despite thiz, I made the decision long time ago to be bac to attend the ceremony becoz I knew it meant alot not to mi, but my parents.

Last year when I attended Bui's convo, I rem I felt veri happi for him. N den I saw the expressions on the parents' faces. It was den dat I knew the less-than-a-min on stage meant the world to parents. We may be walking onto the stage n receiving nothing but an empty folder, n being in the 'limelight' for less than a min, such a moment meant the world to our parents. To parents, it meant dat their children had finally grown up n ready to step into the real world, n of coz, they dint haf to pay the sch fees animore. Keke.

So aniwae convo was on Tuesday, n it was much nicer than I had anticipated. It felt indeed good to c schmates again, esp since I had been in the States for so long. The ceremony was okie, there were less speeches than I tot there wld be. Soon it was my turn, n I adjusted my mortarboard n gown b4 gg on stage. Heez. I asked my parents if they saw mi on stage, n Mummy tol mi my face looked veri round on the big screen. How sad. Sobzzz.

Haha. Nevertheless, I had fun on dat day, taking pics wif everione I knew. Of coz, I dint get to take pics wif everi schmate I knew, becoz the chang3 mian4 was yi2 pian4 hun4 luan4. Heez. Here r some pics.

I m coming home!!!

The moment I haf been waiting for iz finalli arriving! Itz tmr nite!!! *Excited* Heez. In any case, I m veri glad to be bac at the hotel in Los Angeles becoz I haf been stuck in the desert for the past two and a half days! If u think the weather in Singapore iz hot, try being in the desert, itz freaking 44 degree celsius!!!

I haf always preferred cold to hot weather, n I got a shock the day I stepped foot on Las Vegas. Of coz, my ignorance had it dat I dint noe Las Vegas was located in a desert, so erm, when I got off the bus I was like ermmmmmm. I felt like I was in an oven, n I meant it. Of coz I guess itz a good thing dat the weather iz hot in Las Vegas becoz in thiz way, everione wld be spending their time in the casinoes where air-conditioners were blasting.

Days went by both quickly n slowly. Each day went by wif utmost fulfillment, visiting some place and learning sth new each day. However, at a glance bac, it felt like forever since I had ended work, left Wildwood, n embarked on my travelling. Sth felt like it happened onli yest though - I m broke again. Thank goodness I m gg bac Singapore tmr. The feeling realli sux.

If I m not wrong, I haf been to 12 states in the United States of America! Hmmmm, frankly I m not realli bowed over by wat I haf seen in the States. I m glad I came on thiz trip becoz it made mi realise how good Singapore iz. The complaints bout her being small, having not much activities, all these aint impt animore. The stay in US has made mi appreciate Singapore so so so much more.

Been to the Grand Canyon the other day. It iz a marvellous creation by nature! There r so much things I wanna tok bout for thiz trip, but I think I will do it when I get bac to Singapore.

Aniwae, I think I spent too much on the trip. The transport n accomodation expenses, n not forgetting the shopping expenses!! Sighz. I m gg to haf to eat grass when I m bac in Singapore. I will probably stay at home or settle my meals at food courts. No restaurant meals for mi for at least two mths! Sigh sigh sigh. Nevertheless, I m still veri excited bout giving out the presents when I m bac. Heeez. I haf put lots of effort into buying each n everi single item, n I hope everione can sense my sincerity. But nah, not everithing one does will be reciprocated.

Much has happened on the trip. So mani thoughts, so much feelings. My dear family n frens, I m so coming bac to whine n complain bout my work at Morey's Piers! Haha. Bui, u r at the top of my complain-to list. Hahaha.

Juz came bac from dinner. I m feeling yucky now. The dinner was scrumptious, but I m feeling soooo fat now! Urgh. I haf eaten so much fries todae. I think I muz haf put on a couple of pounds since the day I stopped work. Sigh.

I m dreading to think of how much I haf spent in total. BIG SIGH. I dun haf a solution to how I shd start paying bac Daddy the money, n I cant bliv I actualli spent so much dat my debit card got declined the day I tried to get some souvenirs at the Lost Sea. Of coz, it got declined yet again while I was at Coach. Sigh. Sis, if u r reading thiz, pls do not tell Daddy n Mummy. Thanx.

Tmr we wld be gg to Universal Studios n den we r heading home! Datz for Jiayi n mi but not for Jun though. She wld be staying in US for another whooping 9 days n another 3 days in Taiwan b reaching Singapore quite some time later! Hmmm, I guess I still wld miss the States, after all I haf been here for almost 3 mths. Wld miss the weather (not the weather in the desert), miss wearing shades everiwhere I go, miss the carefreeness, n prob the pace of life. Itz gonna get all hectic bac in SG.

I m thinking of starting work 2 weeks earlier than planned, i.e. mid Aug, so dat I wld earn half a mth's salary more to make up for the money I spent in the States.

The past few days in the desert were so damaging dat I haf like 5 pimples on my chin now, n another two on each side of my nose. Itz totalli untimely becoz I wldnt be able to recover in time for convo, where I wld take lots of pics!! Urgh. Can some makeup artist come help mi wif my face? Or perhaps I cld engage Hossan's help to photoshop the pics. Haha.

Okie I shall go n bathe n nua for the rest of the nite. My last nite of hotel stay in the States.

Feeling darn fat now. Not intending to step onto the weighing scale ani time soon.

The third day of my four-day tour iz over. So far we haf visited the Shenandoah Caverns, the Great Smoky Mountains, Ruby Falls, Inclined Railway, the Rock City n the Lost Sea. We wld be gg to the Natural Bridge tmr, n itz one of the natural wonders of the world. So far I love the Ruby Falls the most, followed by the Lost Sea. Coincidentally the water source in both of these caverns r unknown, in the Ruby Falls the outlet of water iz the Tennessee River but the inlet iz unknown, i.e. no one noes where the water comes from. Despite thiz, a pretty waterfall iz hidden 260 feet below the ground n we had to walk bout a mile b4 we saw the waterfall. Splendid view. The Lost Sea iz even more mysterious, for both the inlets n outlets of the water iz unknown. Scientists haf put Rainbow troughts into the lake, in an attempt dat the fishes wld lead them to either the inlet or the outlet of the water source. Thiz has not been successful though.

Soon we wld heading to Philadelphia to take the internal flight to LA where we wld begin another 6-day tour. Den itz bac to home sweet home! Hmmmm. I muz enjoy myself thoroughly becoz it wld be all work n no play once I begin work in Singapore. Hmmm, I probably wld miss life in the States, but I guess it wldnt be as much as how I haf missed home. I m oredi thinking of the food, my bed, n most imptly the ppl in Singapore hu r waiting for mi! Heeez. Lotsa catching up to do when I m bac.

On my first day of the four-day tour to Tennessee. Visited the Shenandoah Caverns, which iz an underground cave n which rock formation resembles dat of strips of bacon. Heez. However, somehow I wasnt exactli veri impressed by the cave. I still preferred the caves I saw at Stong.

I m realli excited becoz I m one day closer to gg home. I m realli excited bout the trip to LA as well, to Disneyland n Universal Studios. Heezzz. I wanna take lots n lots of pics!! Wish my family iz wif mi. Hmmm.

Kinda lazy to blog now. Will do a thorough one when I m bac in Singapore. Take care everione.

Gonna leave Wildwod for New York in a moment, to join the tour to Tennessee. Itz a strange feeling, after all I haf been living in Wildwood for the past nine weeks. I haf grown accustomed to life here, hmmm, wld miss the lifestyle here.

Ended work one week earlier than planned. Glad dat I escaped the clutches of Morey's Piers, but somehow I keep feeling dat I haf no more obligation to be in the States, n I wanna go home asap. Maybe ending work one wk earlier has brought mi additional expenses datz y. I realli dun wanna spend so much.

I m looking forward to reaching home, which will be in bout 12 days time. Weird feeling I m having.

OFFICIALLY ENDED. I dun need to work animore!!!!

Dat seriousli calls for a big celebration. Haha. Thanx everione for ur bdae wishes, though itz still 7 July 2007 in US now. Heez. Bui was the first!! Haha.

Yea. Now I haf time to pack n update my blog!! I haf so mani photos I wanna upload but havnt gotten down to doing so.

I m so excited!! We wld be heading to the beach n the waterparks tmr! I haf long wanted to go to the beach! Heez. But tmr wld be freaking hot I reckon, juz like todae. I think I realli wld get a heatstroke!

Hmmm, actualli, to be true to myself, I m feeling kinda lost. It feels kinda weird to be blogging here not having to watch the time, having to slp earli or rush bac to work, or haf even an obligation. Not dat I miss it, but the feeling iz juz queer.

Aniwae I was realli pissed at work todae, again. I got assigned to do a task which happened to be the veri first assignment I got at Morey's Piers. I actualli ended my stay at Morey's Piers the same way I started it! Iz dat nice or wat. In any case, the task iz sth I wish I nv haf to do again. Wat kind of luck do I haf? *Angry*

I was sent home at bout 2230 hrs juz now, much to my relief as I haf to be in at freaking 0800 hrs tmr morn!! On my way bac I heard some gunshots, nah, the sounds were the fireworks. I had forgotten there wld be fireworks everi Friday nite. On 4 July 2007, i.e. Independence Day, the fireworks had been cancelled due to the strong winds, so I figured they set everithing off tonite! Omigosh, werent the fireworks spectacular!!!

Singapore has no shortage of fireworks in the recent few years, but none of them had been as awesome as the one I saw juz now, or maybe cuz the fireworks in Singapore were always set off at a distance away from us. The fireworks I saw juz now were veri different from those in Singapore - the designs, colors, size - they were set off from the ocean shore, n I cld witness the fireworks shoot up into the sky! The boardwalk was filled wif ppl watching the fireworks, n of coz, there were police to keep everithing in order. I was actualli rushing home becoz I wanted to get a shower real quick n oso cuz I was having a gastric den. But I cldnt bring myself to go off becoz I simply had to watch the finale! Thank goodness I did. There was a loud applause at the end of the fireworks. Thumbs up from mi. Some of the fireworks were so huge I tot they were gg to fall on mi.

Tmr wld be my last day at work. Goodness gracious. I cant wait for 5pm tmr. Dat wld mark the END of Morey's Piers for mi. =)

Went to play the rides on Independence Day nite, despite the strong winds n rain. I went on the Great NorEaster, which was a roller-coaster dat went upside-down n swirled one ard. I totalli enjoyed dat ride! I went on the ride feeling real scared but before long I was enjoying myself. Haha. I managed to get a DVD of Jean n mi on the ride cuz I knew the DVD guys. Keke. Jean had her head knocked a couple of times n she came down the ride feeling giddy. Poor she. We went to Mariner's Landing as well, n I was totalli in love wif thiz ride dat spinned n went upside-down. Haha. I heart rides dat go upside-down!

To Bui:
Bui, the fireworks were AWESOMEEEEE! Wish u were here wif mi. So mani times I wished u were here to go on the rides wif mi. Heeez. I m ending work tmr! My bdae iz in two days time, n I m coming home soon!!! I m so excited. I cant wait to c everione - Daddy, Mummy, Sis, Pandan Gang, SBB, YQ, WF, n of coz u Dubbie. Haf u gotten my bdae present ready?? Haha. I m sooo looking forward to coming bac. I wanna eat so mani things!! I dunno which one to start wif. To be exact, I guess I shd be bac home in 16 days. Wow. Datz realli near. I cant wait!! I cant wait to squeeze ur face again. My Dubbie stress ball iz so far away from mi now. I dunno where to vent all my frustrations! I m seriousli done wif all the nasty Americans here. Some of them r realli, ARGH. Nvm. Heez, Bui I m coming home!! Cya real soon.

I m finalli blogging. Been so tired recently, I juz wanna laze ard when I get home from work. I haf lots of backlog to do, but yea, letz c when it will be done. On our days off we went to Philadelphia n Washington, both trips of which were ok, not exactli alot of fun.

I m on my 2hr dinner break now, n I m feeling so tired. Todae was so hot I tot I was gg to get a heatstroke. No matter how much water I drank, it dint seem to help. I m so glad work iz ending soon, to be exact, work iz ending tmr. I haf requested to end work one wk earlier, n for the seven days I haf extra, three will be spent lazing ard in Wildwood, n the next four Jun, Jiayi n I wld be gg on another tour.

Hmmm I haf spent alot of money on thiz trip. My heart aches at the thought of dat. At times I wld think of how I can earn the money bac, but I soon realised there was no way I cld do so juz by working as a ride operator. I wldnt wan to work more hrs becoz the work sux. Or maybe I shd say the guests sux. They juz made life difficult. Well, yest an incident which made mi ultra angry n pissed happened. Yea, it had to happen on my third last day at work.

I kinda regret not having chosen to be a lifeguard becoz the work seems to be more fun than dat of ride operators, n more imptly, the friendship I haf seen the lifeguards forge. Itz nice to be in a foreign land n noe a bunch of other ppl from the same country n having fun tgt wif them. The nature of work for ride operators provide not much opportunity for interaction, n hence itz mostly hi n bye frens I haf made, other than my few other partners at Doo Wopper. WAT has not turned out to be wat I hoped n wanted it to be, but well, I wld say I did enjoy it overall, except for the work. Nothing can describe how sick I m of the work. *Puke*

Dat day I was taking a stroll in the waterpark, n realised how happi I wld haf been working there. At least I m sure I wld be happier as a lifeguard than as an operator. I love water, n frankly itz nice to be wearing a swimsuit n singlet walking ard n getting wet from the splashing of water. The drawback iz perhaps dat it gets awfully cold when the weather iz bad. But somehow I juz noe I wld enjoy it even so.

Time flies. Soon I wld be bac in Singapore, bac at home. But before dat, my bdae iz coming! Haha. Thank goodness I haf taken off for the day, otherwise it wld be a sad bdae for mi! First time I m spending my bdae overseas, haha but I guess therez nothing special bout it.

Work sux. It dint help I got into a conflict wif I dunno hu he was yest. I think he iz a manager. But so wat? Like I care. I m leaving!!
