The day began wif mi waking up at 11am, feeling veri refreshed becoz I havnt been able to slp well these few days. Somehow I juz get woken up by the slightest sound. Made breakfast for myself n enjoyed it veri much. Finalli made my way to the bank to cash my cheques, n my "penniless" status can now be removed again. =)

At bout 4pm Jean, Jun n I went to McDonald's for dinner, n dragged ourselves to work thereafter. Work was fine todae, though I was dreading it in my heart. Had to make the best out of it, nothing else can be done aniwae. At least the weather was good until it started raining. We got to end work 15 mins earlier becoz of it, so, itz a blessing!

Jun went to buy a bagel after work, n we got two free pretzels cuz they were closing n they hadnt managed to finish selling them! Yea. I was still thinking bout wat I shd eat when I reached home. Haha.

Saw a beautiful sunset juz now. I watched the sun go down behind the clouds, it was AWESOME. I onli managed to catch one shot of it, becoz I was managing the ride n cldnt take out my camera. I was so tempted to hold the button wif one hand n take out the camera wif the other. But I dint, cuz I m a gd employee. Haha. In any case, if I wasnt working juz now, I wld haf gotten shots of the sun above the clouds, the sun behind the clouds, n the sun gg below the clouds. I realli watched the sun move. Wat can I say, itz totalli spectacular!!

I haf moved house, to two houses down the street. At 8 in the morn yest, the Morey's ppl came into our house n starting making alot of noise telling us to bring our stuff over. Yes, I was still sleeping.

The house iz not bad, there iz a single n a double-decker bed in my room. Jun iz using the single decker bed, n mi the double. I haf set up a permanent station in the common room to use my lappie becoz the ceiling of the lower deck of double-decker bed I m using iz too low for mi, n I cant even sit straight. Heez. Thus I haf set up a comfortable corner in the common room for myself. Itz realli nice, juz dat the common room can be a lil stuffy at times. No fan. Boo.

I haf been feeling so sleepy n I cant slp well. I get woken up by the slightest sound n I juz cant get bac to sleep. Thank goodness I m working late shift these two days, n I can laze ard at home, surfing net n watching show. =)

I haf been eating non-stop ever since I woke up. Haha. Watz new. But somehow in my heart I haf been feeling uneasy. Maybe cuz I cant wait to get bac to Singapore. After working here, honestly, I realise money iz indeed hard to earn. I realli feel abit guilty bout spending so much money n enjoying myself here, while my family dint get a chance to be here wif mi.

Aniwae I haf developed a new ability - I can tell the time by looking at the position of the sun. Yes, datz how much time I spend working n looking at the sky, waiting for time to pass. Work iz getting increasingly boring n I realli dun like doing brainless job. Itz okie. Work iz ending realli soon. =)

For the past two nites I dreamt of work. In my first dream I saw the pier n in the second, I saw myself asking a guest to scan his wristband. AHHHHHHHHHHHH. Thiz has to stop.

Work was fine todae. No nasty guests at least. I hesitated to type thiz becoz somehow I haf the feeling if I typed thiz I wld probably meet wif some real nasty guests tmr.

Gonna move house on Monday morn. Nothing packed yet. Typical of Iris. Letz get all panicky on Sunday nite.

Another full day at work tmr. No fretz though. My stamina iz damn good now. Aniwaez, my arms haf grown more toned. Itz quite scary becoz now I dun even haf to gek4 b4 I c a little mousey. I m hoping my legs will be slimmer too.

Turning in. Good nitey world.

I dun wanna dream of Morey's Piers. Being there for 12 hrs a day iz quite enuf, therez no need for more.

Todae was such a fine day at work until the eleventh hour, n I mean literally, some dumb woman came along n scolded mi sth which I hated - "retarded". Shall not go into details. I guess I m angry at myself. Angry for not doing anithing else except staring at her.

Anihow, she got mi so pissed I headed to the boardwalk n got a funnel cake to eat! It cost mi USD3! So much for mi scrimping everidae! Since dunno when, I hadnt spent a single penny each day I worked becoz I wld cook n bring food, thereby saving even the one buck pizza which I used to eat everidae. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise, becoz heaven noes when I wld haf bought the funnel cake wif mi having the giam mentality everidae! The funnel cake tasted realli good! I probably wld haf one more b4 I leave Morey's. (Cant wait for the day to come)

Oso, the saga caused mi to be so absent-minded dat I brought the key to my ride home! OMG. I think I gonna get a earful tmr morn. N I wld haf to bring the key bac tmr morn! Urgh. I was hoping to slp in becoz I m on night shift tmr. Damn. Well, forget it. I can go collect my cheque n change my working clothes on the way too.

Enuf of the unhappi events. Yest was my off day! We went to Rio Grande n had a realli good meal n caught Pirates of the Carribean 3 too! Talking bout the food I cant help but boast bout the good deal I got. My order was Linguine with Mussels. I had expected the dish to haf bout 4 mussels but I got a shock when I saw my lunch. Guess how mani mussels there were? Woooooooo. I paid USD11.95 for it, which was realli wu3 hua2 cuz if a dish wif so mani mussels wld cost at least SGD30. Hahaha. So, the point iz, I got a realli good deal.

Okie, somehow I cant upload the pics cuz my internet connection sux todae. Next time den. N I juz realised I havnt posted pics of my New York trip. Will someone gimme more time, or maybe more money instead so I dun haf to work for it? Haha. I m getting so sick of work. But at least I wld be learning a new ride again, thiz time more interesting as I wld be veri high up on a platform! Haha. Wonder y I m the one chosen for the job. Probably cuz the fact dat I went on AtmosFEAR twice in a row was an obvious display for my absence of fear for heights.

Ohhhhh, I saw a realli beautiful sunset todae! The sky was red n I realli saw a round burning orange ball peeking from behind the clouds, like in a painting. It was absolutely breathtaking. N guess wat, the ocean was realli pretty todae too. The ocean was greenish blue n when set against the blue of the sky, it formed a sight which I can hardly take my eyes off from. Too bad I dint haf my camera wif mi n I can onli hope dat next Sat when itz my day off I wld get the same scenery so dat I cld take a picture of mi n keep it as a frozen memory. =)

I was lamenting to myself how few shuai4 ge1s there were here, n when I did c shuai4 ones they were either young boys whom u juz knew wld turn out to be heartthrobs in future, or charismatic fathers whom, as the name obviousli tells, had oredi become fathers. At thiz moment there was thiz guy hu came to my ride, n he resembled Michael Owen!! So shuai4!!! Haha.

Juz some random stuff, the weather in Wildwood realli changes as quickly as a finger snap. Some days I felt as though I was at archery training, some days I had to wear two jackets. The other day I happened to witness the mist come in from the ocean. When we first got here, there was thiz nite where it was so misty the visibility was onli like 10m n our hair were all wet by the time we got home. Juz Tuesday it happened again. My fren explained it to mi, but I cant rem it now. Anihow, the gist was dat it was clouds being formed at sea level. Amazing iznt it?

Eeek, I havnt gotten a haircut for 5 months plus. Yes, the last time I had one was in January. N I m planning to get one onli when I get bac to Singapore. N dat wld be half a year wif no haircut. Little wonder y my hair iz turning into a big fur ball. I can hardly go aniwhere without tying up my hair or wearing a cap. How sad iz dat.

Okie my thoughts r realli getting veri disorganised becoz my eyes r closing. N thiz reminds mi. I dreamt of Morey's Piers in my sleep last nite. AHHHHHH!! I m being haunted by Morey's Piers. I m off to Lalaland. I wanna c no one but my Bui. Heeeezzz.

Counting down to the day I leave the States. Not dat I dun like it here, but I miss home more.

Todae was a fine day at work. The weather was not as cold as the past two days, though the temperature was still 13 degrees celsius, there was no strong wind hitting us!

My Russian partner said sth to mi todae which I tot was funni. She said, "Iris, I think u shd realli go join Miss Singapore or sth, I think u will win." Haha.

After work todae I came home to c Jun eating Haagen Dazs ice-cream. The flavor was chocolate peanut butter. It was awesomeeeeeeee!! Haha. I ate like half the tub. Omg. So sinful. Itz realli too much chocolate these few days. I started todae wif half a bar of Snickers as breakfast, den went on to buy a chocolate-coated Oreo becoz I cldn resist the temptation, n I came bac to end the day wif half a tub of ice-cream. OMG!!!! I m so gg to be FAT.

Alrite I m gg to slp. Fat dreams.

To Bui:
Bui, havnt seen ya online for a few days. How r u? I haf been eating so much these few days. I think I m gg to gain a few pounds. The chocolate n peanut butter stuff here r realli gd. I haf oredi bought some to bring bac to Singapore. Will gif my family, frens n u to try. Heez. Juz toked to ur bro online, noe u r blading now. Haf a great time n master it well so dat u can teach mi when I m bac! Eat well n drink more water. Take care. =)

One of our housemates, Ye Yan, iz gonna leave us on thiz Sunday to go bac to China! She ended work like a month earlier. It was rather shocking to us becoz we onli knew of the news like 2 days bac. Well, she herself knew onli 2 days bac too! I guess itz a wise decision since she aint gonna travel after her work at Morey's Piers aniwae n besides, staying longer wun earn her alot of money too. Might as well go bac to China n stay at home longer b4 returning to Singapore to study again! =)

To celebrate her departure, or maybe I shd say, for Ye Yan to celebrate her departure, we went to the City to club since she said she hadnt been to a club b4. There r several ppl in the house hu aint old enuf to get into the club, so we had to resort to trickery to seek entrance! Haha. They borrowed fake IDs. Maybe itz cuz all Chinese look the same to the Caucasians, some of the ICs were used twice but the bouncer did not recognise. Keke.

Itz a super cold day! We were told dat the temperature todae was 14 degrees celsius, but wif the strong chilly wind blowing, I bet it was lower than dat. Was freezing while working juz now, thank goodness the pier closed an hour b4 the stipulated time.

Reached bac home an hour earlier means having the luxury of drinking milo n eating soda biscuits, munch on the food housemates bring bac from work n binging on titbits. Gosh, I haf been eating too much these few days. Way too much! Cant seem to stop myself. Yest at Atlantic City, I bought a pack of chocolates n I finished it b4 I even left the complex. Overdose of chocolates for one day, n I haf since decided to stay clear of chocs for the next two days at least.

I feel so bloated I m gg to puke. I ate too much! I opened the large pack of Tortilla chips yest, n I m three-quarter thru it oredi. Omigosh.

Itz another off day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jean, Jun n I went to Atlantic City AGAIN!! We juz heart the place. Nice breeze, fantastic shopping, sinful candies n lotsa good deals! RAR.

We started the day gg to the Recruitment Office at Mariner's Landing to book a place in the new apartment we wld be moving into. Yes, we hafta move due to some reasons to a place juz two houses down the street. Duh I noe. But the catch of thiz inconvenience iz dat we get to haf a wk of rent paid for by Morey's Piers for causing us thiz inconvenience! Yeah. I m in need of such petty gains. I dun feel all dat resistant towards moving becoz I not juz get a wk of rent paid for, I can make use of the chance to pack n not be all frantic when I m set to leave on 15 July!

The first thing we did when we reached Atlantic City was to hit the boardwalk n find a stall where we can haf lunch! *Growl* We were hungry. Decided to haf chicken cheesesteak becoz apparently it seems to be a must-try here.

She helped mi find an almost impossible deal - a USD9.99 pair of Nike sneakers!!! AHHHHH! I owe it to her. Thank goodness I decided to buy the Nike sneakers, becoz when we hopped over to Adidas, the pair of pink sneakers I wanted was gone! Heez. N I got a similar one at so much less.*Smug*
