WHY??

Thiz iz the question dat has been thru my mind almost everi minute for the whole of todae.

1) Why iz the weather here so erratic?
2) Why did I spend so much money to come here to bei4 feng1 chui1, bei4 yu3 lin2?
3) Why dint I juz go on an ordinary grad trip like everibodi else?
4) Why did I pluck so much courage to step out of my comfort zone n fit into a totalli new environment?

Alrite, actualli things r not dat bad. My job iz fine. Honestly. Even though it means standing for long hours. Itz the weather. Todae the wind was so strong, n I was literali freezing. My knees even turned slightly purple. It dint help I brought all short khakis over.

N so I stood at my station being the attendant for the day. It was quite a nice experience cuz I got to meet all sorts of ppl. Some of them r realli polite n nice, while some can be downright nasty. But hu cares bout those nasty ones as long as I m doing my job correctly. Some parents r realli, eeeeeeeeeekks.

I m not sure if the number iz big, but I met wif like 5 incidents of nasty parents. They were so not cultured. Boo hoo to them. I hope I get trained as an operator real soon, so dat I cld get away from all the parents for part of my working time. We r all graduates for goodness sake, WHY were we there to suffer such treatment?

I still cant get over the fact dat lunch break iz onli 30 mins. I worked for 11 hrs todae, n took onli a total of 55 mins break.

Called home to wish Mummy "Happi Mothers' Day" juz now, was sad to find dat she was still ill. Fever to a high of 42 degrees. Wish I m at home in Singapore. =(

Watever. Home iz still so far away. I realli wish the weather will get better. I dun haf much tolerance left before I get sick.

Thank goodness there iz Fifi wif mi. I woke up n played wif Fifi thiz morn n got caught by Jun. So embarrassing. I m planning to get a pullover for Fifi, since I figure Fifi wld be juz as cold as I m.

To Bui:
Bui!! Sobzzzzzz. The weather iz so harsh here. It wasnt exactli too bad if I was in jeans n lotsa layers of clothes. But I was in shorts. Though they gave a windbreaker, it wasnt of much help becoz it was veri thin. Sigh. The weather realli makes mi veri low morale when itz bad.

I cooked todae! Made a simple dish of soup noodles wif some veg. I realli love it! Heez. Yearning for more of it now. *Greedy*
