THE DAY FOR SBB

The long overdue day iz finalli here!! After 11 months n 8 days, we finalli got SBB's 24th bdae present ready!! He iz 25 thiz year. *SheepIsH* The consolation iz, he hasnt given mi my 21st bdae present too! We r such procrastinators.

The gathering of 24 items as a bdae gift may sound easy, but it was NO MEAN FEAT! The gathering of SBB's present took over a year, since we had started buying stuff b4 his bdae last year. The issue had constantly been on my mind n I had been feeling veri bad bout it, there juz wasnt enuf determination to push mi to complete the task. Besides, getting 24 items each wif a meaning iz not easy. Thiz iz the first time I gif such a present - number of items to match the number of years of age - n I m not gg to do it again.

So now SBB has so mani more froggie items added to his possession now, in addition to those I gave him on various occasions. Haha. Hey SBB, sori the present came so late. But better late than never rite? Frankly, if I werent gg to fly off next Wed, I realli wonder when thiz wld be done. Hope u like the presents, n rem to return mi the box! Though u were the one hu gave mi the box. Haha.

I m good at picking expensive stuff. Shooting my mouth off without thinking, I ordered one of the most expensive dishes in Canteen 4. So much for mi trying to scrimp by eating in for lunch. *Frownzz* Oh well, at least the dinner was not bad.I had the same food for breakfast n lunch todae, becoz I was too lazy to crawl out to buy lunch, n I wanted to save. Ended up gorging on the same food the whole day - Milo n soda biscuits. How thrifty rite!

Made a last min decision to stay in room to study todae, instead of the usual routine of camping at SAC. The decision came about partly becoz I wanted to avoid the aircon n allow my stomach to clear a lil, n partly cuz I wanted some time alone.

N so I spent the day in my room, trying to concentrate n study. Funni noises kept coming from my neighbour's room n out of boredom, I began analysing wat was happening. First, there was a loud cry from a girl (of coz itz my neighbour), which I figured she cried becoz she was sad. N I noe becoz datz wat I do sometimes when I m sad! Moments later came cries of pain from a guy, I dun haf to say hu, n I figured it was becoz the guy hu had made his gf angry was accepting punishment in the form of pinches or tickles maybe? Watever, it was punishment. N suppose my deductions were not correct, den erm, I realli wonder wat they were doing?? *Innocent*

I m such a voyeur.

I haf noticed the number of guys on my corridor hu appear on a daily basis. In substance, I can call them my neighbours. Todae iz not the first time I m hearing funni noises from the above-mentioned neighbour, n turns out dat Bui noes the guy. They said hi to each other when Bui dropped by yest. I onli noe the guy looks familiar, but haf no idea hu he iz.

Oh well, I dunno if it does, but if the old rule still stands, I could probably earn myself more than 200 over points to guarantee a room in hall, by telling on others. In fact, I think I wld haf enuf to choose whichever hall n whatever room I wan. Haha.

For the third time I saw a guy practising Taiji downstairs, n I seriousli feel I shd pick it up so dat I wld learn to control my waves of emotions n not be such a hothead.
Aniwae, I gonna fly off to New York on next Wednesday. Man itz so soon. Itz coming so soon I m still in shock, which probably explains y I havnt dared to blog bout it for so long. I will be bringing so much wif mi, yet leaving behind so much.

Three months will pass in a flash I guess, once I m over there. While chatting wif Olivia hu had been to Morey's Piers b4, I got a feel of how life iz gonna be like over there. She said the place iz not as good and big as it looks in the pictures, n dat lots of cleaning n scrubbing haf to be done. Crap I hate cleaning. Haha. When I asked her bout discrimination, she said the Americans were nice but the ppl hu practises discrimination turns out to be ABCs, hu haf black hair n black eyes too?? I m gonna c for myself. I haf nv approved of Chinese not being able to speak Mandarin, n to add on to their disgrace there r some hu r still DAMN proud of it. A big "Loser" sign to these ppl.

Itz gonna be a hectic day tmr. Anione wanna pamper mi wif some good food? A piece of chocolate cake will do.

Silence iz golden. At least my silence iz golden. Though I hate silence from ppl (at times when I dun nd silence), I realise silence from mi iz usually the best medicine.

I m like a puffer fish now, becoz I m so bloated, both literally n non-literally. My stomach iz giving mi problems again, n yest cld be said to be the worst yet cuz I cldnt even stand n fell back everi time I tried to stand up. Superbly down yest, n for good reason.

But still, down as I was, I shdnt haf been the way I was yest. Though tired, I shd still hang in there n juz get the job done. Wat else can be done aniwae?

I dunno. Regrets fill my heart rite now. Bout mani things. Lots of "maybe"s n "I shd haf"s. Daddy n Mummy came juz now, to help mi pick up some stuff to bring home. I realise they noe mi veri well. But sigh, I haf to make them wori so much in my uni days.

I made a mistake, one which I oredi anticipated rite at the beginning. N yes, I m beginning to regret it.

Went for tuition juz now n finalli bought the sunblocks I nd. On my way bac I helped Bui get a couple of credit card pamphlets (again), since he hadnt gotten down to doing it, saying mi dat I hadnt helped him wif it. Ermmm, last Dec I searched online n tol him which two offered the best deals. At first we had collected the pamphlets tgt but I brought them home wif mi n forgot to pass them to Bui, so he had an excuse. Later on I collected the pamphlets of everi bank (2 copies of each, no less), n passed them to Mr Garren Goh. Still... Now dat time has passed, Mr Goh has forgotten where he has placed the pamphlets n so everithing starts all over again. I m such a tu2 person, n seriousli the onli person dat can match or even surpass mi iz Mr Dubbie Goh. *Admit defeat*

Itz definitely PMS becoz everi single symptom iz showing. I m bloated, fat, pimples r showing, n of coz mood swings r joining in the crowd too. Haiz, but I noe thiz iz not the reason y I haf been feeling down. Good moments of the day, I m spared the torture of thinking bout it n during bad times, I weep quietly. I nd a few more days to be numb bout it I guess. Wld not be meeting Bui tmr, looking forward to Sat.

Finalli I feel slightly better. I cldnt take it animore so I decided to tell my parents wat I had been worrying bout. They obviousli knew sth was wrong wif mi becoz I pulled a long face. It was during dinner dat I decide to let it out. They were so encouraging dat I felt guilty. Veri guilty indeed.

Staying at home iz good, becoz the place iz clean n u get lots of nutritious stuff. Coming bac school from home oso means a replenishment of supplies, n I m glad my exam welfare package has increased both in size n variety, though I m not sure if I can finish them.

Aniwae juz to reminicise a bit lil, here r some of the pics we took while studying at SAC, it wasnt juz work n no play. Check it out.

Wat a tough period of time it has been. Or rather, it still iz gg on. I m so afraid I cant hang in there.

First thing first, the piece of veri GOOD news iz BUI IZ BACK!! I m so happi Bui iz bac, n I m veri glad to haf gone to the airport to fetch him. Bui iz still the same 'ol Bui, except dat he has grown darker n lost some weight. Poor Bui.

Went out wif Bui todae, a long-awaited pator day. But todae's pator day was more of helping mi wif my stuff for the trip. It was Tuesday n so Gelare waffle we had!

Our waffle always looks more plain than others becoz we wld request for no whipped cream. Haha. Bui had learnt his lesson. A veri long time ago, while we were having Gelare waffles, lazy Bui had mi cutting n feeding him the waffle, n I conveniently gave him all the whipped cream! Haha. A while later, he was like, "Where r all the whipped cream??" Den he realised all the whipped cream had gone into him. Kekeke. So now, we wld omit the whipped cream in our order.

Last Friday was the DRESSY day wif Pandan Gang, n for the first time we saw Shuang in a dress!! Haha. Poor Shuwen injured her ankle n dint put a dress on, not dat we minded cuz itz oredi chou3 er4 for her n a chou3 san1 will render the forfeit of having to bring a guy wif her on our next outing! Muahaha.

Vivo Marche we went. Disappointing trip. Queued for one hr plus onli to get a veri cold seat n not so good food. The soya been milk n doughsticks after the meal at Food Republic was fantastic though. Missed it!

Thiz iz a shot I took of myself on last Thurs, the day of the KPMG networking nite. I took it becoz I felt dat for the first time in mani mani days, I actualli looked like a human being, wif neat hair n not dull face.

I dunno how to describe how I feel now. One word - Down. No point toking bout it. I m weak now I guess.
