Itz a tough decision.

I havnt found myself in such a dilemma b4. A decision which will determine the kind of life n job I haf for 2 yrs starting from July 2007. I love tax. I noe I gonna end there. But I realli dunno if I shd jump straight into it. It goes two ways. One, if I m gg to end it there, I might as well start there. Two, the first 2 yrs r probably the onli time I wld ever get to try audit.

Tax iz suitable for mi I noe. But audit iz oso fun in the sense dat I wld be able to meet alot of ppl from different fields. Tax iz gonna be more desk-bound for sure. The KP director did tell mi, tax iz sth u shd do for more that 3 yrs, becoz datz the time when u start to get exposed to more challenging aspects of tax. The first 3 yrs iz to get the basics right, to grasp the foundation.

Sought the opinions of my manager n supervisor todae bac at SMC. They both agree I wld be able to c more in audit. My supervisor was more for the idea of starting wif audit, while my mgr was fine wif both. She was encouraging towards both. She said by doing audit one wld get to learn a large realm of knowledge, but if I m dead sure I like tax, therez nothing wrong wif starting wif tax, n dat mani of the tax mgrs in the Big Four all started straight from tax. I m not sure.

The deadline iz drawing closer as each second passes. I tot I was veri happi-go-lucki. But thiz iz such a difficult decision. Seriousli havnt experienced having to make such a tough decision b4. Y did I put one audit one tax? Well, all becoz I dint realli noe wat I wan right from the start.

Went for the Deloitte networking nite yest. Made mi more confused becoz I was reminded of the fact dat I may haf an opportunity to do GFS if I join DT. *Horrible feeling!*

Met up wif Weijie n Huijing b4 gg over to Hilton Hotel. But Huijing got sick after dat so Weijie n I sent her bac.

Mi at home b4 gg to meet WJ n Huijing. WAs nua-ing when the sudden plan to meet earlier came knocking.

Huijing n mi at the place where we waited for time to pass b4 she got sick. Hope u haf fully recovered gal!

Met up wif the Archery peeps to haf a dinner tgt b4 YQ set off for her YEP thiz Sunday. Ate at the Big O. Had thiz bacon wrapped chicken leg which name sounded extremely alluring but turned out to be below expectation. I was visualising a whole chicken thigh wrapped in a whole piece of bacon n baked! It turned out to be small chunks of meat. It was chicken leg meat alrite. But not the way I had wanted it to be.

Went off to Takashimaya after dinner. Since I wasnt too satisfied wif the meal, I had some other food to make it up! I ate thiz curry fishball from the Taka food paradise. It was too much for a single person to finish alone I feel. For a gal at least. Not too mention the amt of fat n calories, but oso it was heaty. Pimples pimples pimples. But still, I finished it. Keke.

The rest of them had ice-cream after dat but I managed to withhold myself! Mostly becoz I had oredi spent alot of money todae, almost all of my pay for the day, n oso I dint noe wat flavor I wanted. Vanilla seems gd, dark chocolate iz irresistable, lemon iz refreshing.. I tried the mint flavor which YQ bought, it was nice too. So I dint haf any in the end. Tink I wld wait for Bui to share one wif mi. ^_^

The Xmas tree in Taka is magnificent! I was telling Derick when I was young, I used to wonder how the huge n tall Xmas tree managed to squeeze thru the door. Did they carry it horizontally first or wat? It was dumb. Haha. Took some pics 'wif' the Xmas tree. SBB was enthusiastic so we let him haf the first go. Muahaha. He was 'angry' n turned off by the pic Derick took. Check it out.

Looked at the KP contract which was lying on my table. Tax or Audit? A career which wld be smooth n allow mi to enjoy life more, or one which grants mi vast exposure but leaves mi no daylight to enjoy?
