Had a tiring day at work. Had hardly rested ever since the holz started. But juz as well. Thiz means dat the holz iz a fulfilling one for mi. Rite now I m juz struggling to hang in there. Tmr'z Thurs oredi! I shall patiently await the arrival of the long long wkend.

The day before Xmas eve Bui n I went for the Jay Chou movie "Curse of the Golden Flower". Dint plan on watching it, but my aunt had booked the tics but cldnt make it in the last min, so she gave the tics to mi. Pardon my lack of appreciation, but I dint realli find the movie engaging n substantial. At the end of the movie I was like, ok Chou Yun Fatt was the bad guy n their costumes were gold-glittery. I had expected more from the show.

It was Caps Day for Bui n I. We were both wearing the caps his sis bought for us during her honeymoon trip in Korea. Datz fun. We havnt realli seen each other wif caps before. But wherez Bui looking?

Earli Merry Xmas!

Xmas was fun. It was Chinese New Year style Xmas celebration. Had home-made steamboat wif Bui n JY n NK. Haha. We bought too much food! Duhhh. Bui n I were the ones hu did the shopping. BUT, Bui was the 'hungry' one hu seemed to think food was nv enuf n dat there ought to be alot of food during Xmas. So as he walked behind mi, he conveniently took one more packet of each food item I took, of which I oredi took 2 packets for each (it was more than sufficient considering we haf so mani items!). Gd thing Bui was the host, so he ended up keeping all the unfinished food. N I made spaghetti n mashed potato as well! Haha, it was my first time making mashed potato n it turned out alrite! *GrinZzz* But I forgot to take pics of my masterpieces. =(

After dinner which was oredi close to 11pm, we played mahjong. Haha. I lost. Lady Luck juz wasnt wif mi. But I had an enjoyable time! So dat was Xmas eve.

On Xmas day morning I had nasi lemak n fried carrot cake from Changi Village. The nasi lemak (which we had queued for a long long time) was so-so, but the carrot cake was FANTASTIC! The carrot cake was home-made, n I cld realli identify the radish taste in the cake! Yummmz. I m a lover for roots - carrot, radish, potato, sweet potato, tapioca, lotus root n the list goes on. I especially love radish soup so I m absolutely heads over heels bout the carrot cake. Can u imagine the efforts the vendor had put into the plate of carrot cake? I haf watched from TV dat the process of making carrot cake iz realli tedious. I savoured every bit of the carrot cake and thanked the vendor quietly in my heart for his sincerity in the simple plate of carrot cake.

[I noe. Ppl hu r reading thiz muz be thinking dat I m such a food lover. But guess wat? I AM!!! Hahaha.]

Went for a family gathering at my uncle's place in the evening. Watched DVDs. Both shows were bout gangster triads in HK which had pretty gruesome n violent scenes. Eeeeks. But the actor Zhen1 Zi3 Dan1 iz realli shuai! Good build n impressive fighting scenes. Heeeez. One more guy to admire.

I tink in life everione shd grant themselves a certain amount of space for day-dreaming. Cuz letz face it, day-dreaming keeps us gg.

Ate another SIns chocolates which Bui gave mi (Shuwen had given mi SIns chocs too!). Thiz time it was the one wif lychee martini. It was nice! One bite into it the smooth filling of lychee martini oozed out. I allowed it to spread all over my tongue n enjoyed everi single bit of it before moving on to the smooth outer layer choc. Despite the half a centimetre diameter ucler in the gum right under my tongue, the taste of the piece of SIns choc was not the least bit affected. Oh no, I m toking bout food again. Muahaha.

I had better go slp. Haf been 5 mins late everidae for quite a few days running. Haha. Nitey! *SnoRezzz*
